Scholarships

There is a broad range of scholarships available to students at AUT. For details, search the AUT Scholarships Database.

The AUT Scholarships Database is a comprehensive and current list of scholarships available to existing or potential AUT students, offered by AUT and external funders. The database allows you to search by name, level or subject area.

Application forms and regulations for scholarships administered by AUT can be downloaded from the database as well as a calendar of closing dates for the next 12 months.

Faculty of Culture and Society Strategic Scholarships 2016 – School of Language and Culture

The School of Language and Culture brings together language theory, practice and creativity. Postgraduate research in the School regularly breaks new ground investigating areas such as intercultural communication, critical applied linguistics, language teacher development, creative writing and discourse studies.

The School also hosts the Centre for Creative Writing, the Centre for Interpreting and Translation, the Centre for Refugee Education and the Institute for Culture, Discourse and Communication.

The scholarships are open to domestic and international students and cover domestic tuition fees, student services fees and a $10,000 stipend for one year.
