The Graduate Diploma in Arts and Graduate Certificate in Arts are designed for students with an undergraduate degree who want to continue into further study and broaden their skills. Both programmes can also help you develop knowledge in a new area.

Entry requirements

The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Arts are designed for students with an undergraduate degree to pursue further study to broaden or deepen educational, professional or vocational knowledge and skills in a familiar subject or discipline already gained in an undergraduate programme or to develop knowledge in a new area.

Structure and content

You will choose papers from the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Māori Development, Bachelor of International Hospitality Management and Bachelor of International Tourism Management degrees.

Graduate Diploma

Students choose papers in an area of interest to accumulate 120 points. At least 75 points must be at level 7.

Graduate Certificate

Students choose papers in an area of interest to accumulate 60 points. At least 45 points must be at level 7.
