Research Summary:
Jane’s research interests arise from her experience as practitioner in the museum sector. Her doctoral research investigated stakeholder perspectives on museums’ public accountability, an area which she continues to examine in the context of notions of the public vale of museums.
Dr Legget is also interested in the public policy, especially how local governments characterise the place of museums, art galleries and heritage within their communities, including as tourism assets.
