First ever New Zealand team enters international culinary competition

Bocuse d'Or, the world's largest culinary contest, will feature a New Zealand time for the first time since it began in 1987.

The Kiwi team, led by AUT lecturer John Kelleher (pictured: right) will prepare and present an elaborate meat platter to serve eight, along with three original garnishes, and plate-up ten portions of a fish dish. Find out more.

You can go anywhere in the hospitality, tourism and events industries with a qualification from AUT's School of Hospitality and Tourism.

Education facilities at the School of Hospitality and Tourism are among the best in Australasia and many of our students are now building careers in the events, hospitality and tourism industries.

As a student, you will be learning from the best and developing top level skills that open employment doors worldwide.

AUT boasts two restaurants — Four Seasons Fine Dining and Piko — complete with a first class professional kitchen.
