The BHSc is structured so that you can study: without a major; with a major which involves work placements, or as a specialised degree which involves clinical placements. Bachelor of Health Science standard pathway
Or you can choose to major in one of the following specialised areas:
Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management
Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Health Science
Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Addictions
Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy Studies
Students who wish to seek careers with a Māori development perspective, should select: Māori Health, Development and Environment; Māori Health Promotion; Applied Primary Māori Mental Health; and Utilising Supervision in Practice as electives or as an alternative course of study. Te Ara Hauora Māori students will be supported to form relationships with Māori health providers, industry stakeholders and communities, and AUT Māori staff and students.
