Our psychology programmes encourage a stimulating intellectual environment, and through our interdisciplinary learning approach, you gain a solid knowledge of health sciences and other relevant disciplines. The curriculum is topical and relevant, presenting not only established principals but also fresh ideas and research emerging from the captivating world of psychology. We specialise in Postgraduate Counselling Psychology and collaboratively work alongside the disciplines of Public Health and Psychosocial Studies for a comprehensive approach to understanding the mind, brain and behaviour.
Our Postgraduate programme in psychology provides a pathway towards registration as a Counselling Psychologist in New Zealand (subject to New Zealand Psychologists Board approval).
