Provides you a postgraduate qualification to enhance your career prospects - choose to upskill yourself in a particular area of interest, or an area that you are professionally involved in. You may choose the postgraduate certificate if you have been out of study for some time, or unsure if postgraduate study is for you: you will be surprised at the flexibile learning options that AUT offers.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have completed the following or equivalent:
  • Bachelor of Health Science; or
  • Graduate Diploma in Health Science; or
  • Relevant professional practice or experience in a related health field equivalent to a bachelors degree

Additional entry requirements

  • The applicant may be required to provide evidence of current professional practice

The PgCertHSc provides you with the opportunity to undertake an approved course of study to advance your specialty discipline, knowledge and scholarly development. This qualification comprises 15-point and 30-point papers, which may contribute 60 points towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science, Master of Health Science or Master of Health Practice.
