Postgraduate Application Process for Health

If you are thinking of enrolling into a Postgraduate programme within the faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences, please take a few minutes to read this page as it outlines the application process. Your enrollment process is slightly different depending on your student status.

Student new to AUT - You have not been a previous AUT student

Returning AUT graduates, new to postgraduate - You are a current AUT student, or have studied at AUT University in the past

Existing AUT postgraduate students re-enrolling- You are a current AUT postgraduate student

NEW ENROLMENT

STUDENTS NEW TO AUT - You have not been a previous AUT student

1. Apply to study at AUT by completing an Application for Enrolment

2. Supply the following documentation:

  • A certified copy of your current Annual Practicing Certificate for your profession (hard copy only)
  • Your CV
  • A certified copy of your passport or birth certificate (hard copy only)
  • Passport sized photograph (hard copy only)
  • Certified copy of all of your academic results (transcript) gained while studying at a tertiary institution (hard copy only)

3. If your application is successful you will receive an Offer of Place and an Admissions letter (which includes a list of your paper options).

4. Once you have chosen your papers, you need to email Stephanie Gregory and let her know your: full name, student ID# and your preferred list of papers you want to study for the current year.

 
RETURNING AUT GRADUATES, NEW TO POSTGRADUATE - You are a current AUT student, or have studied at AUT University in the past

1. Apply to your chosen programme and pathway by contacting Stephanie Gregory on sgregory@aut.ac.nz or 09-9219999 extn 7877

2. Supply the following documentation:

  • A certified copy of your current Annual Practicing Certificate for your profession (hard copy only)
  • Your CV (This is mandatory for application, electronic copy is preferred)
  • If you have completed a qualification at a University other than AUT, these transcripts must be certified and provided (hard copy only)

3. If your application is successful you will receive an Offer of Place. Once you accept this you will be sent a list of papers that you can choose from. Once the university accepts you into these papers you will be successfully enrolled.

RE-ENROLMENT

EXISTING AUT POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS RE-ENROLLING - You are a current AUT postgraduate student

1. Download the Re-enrolment to Postgraduate Study Form that is stored on AUTonline. (Once logged onto AUTonline, go to ‘Postgrad Org Health 2012’ to find all forms and timetables). Or download the Word document here.

2. Complete the Re-enrolment to Postgraduate Study Form and e-mail it to lmeikle@aut.ac.nz as a simple word document. (Please note: Those using a Macintosh may have to print this out and complete a hard copy and send us a scanned electronic version)

3. Visit AUT Online and choose your papers. Once logged onto AUTonline, go to ‘Postgrad Org Health 2012’ to find all forms and timetables.

4. You will be contacted via e-mail when your enrolment is confirmed. Your module placements will be sent to you in hard copy via mail.
