Sally Birks
Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science in Health Professional Education
TAKING A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO HEALTH
Sally Birks was part of a steering committee at AUT looking at the introduction of a homeopathy degree, so she says it was a natural progression for her to study here. While she did the postgraduate Diploma in Health Science, she also co-wrote a Postgraduate Certificate in Homeopathy for AUT. “My study has supported my career as an educator and a professional in the healthcare sector by increasing my skills and confidence. It has also been an opportunity for me to familiarise myself with other disciplines and introduce my perspective of sickness and health to mainstream health professions.”
