Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science in Leadership and Management
APPRAISING THE WAY HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WORK
Mary Carthew’s role with Manaia Health PHO, Whangarei, in one of three nurse leadership positions, covers the six PHOs in Northland. Mary works with nurses coordinating clinical projects that are responsive to the community’s health needs and involve a variety of health service providers. “AUT offers a helpful mix of weekend or block courses and online study and support, which meant I could work full time and complete my postgraduate diploma in three years.”
