AUT oral health students undertake pre-clinical simulated practice in the modern SIM facility on the North Shore Campus.
This SIM suite provides fully equipped work stations, using phantom heads enabling students to gain competency in clinical procedures, preparing them to work with patients in a variety of clinical settings.
Learning in the laboratory commences at the beginning of the second semester in the first year of study.
