AUT provides an innovative Oral Health degree that is comprehensive in both education and hands on experience.

Students gain a unique advantage and become skilled in dental therapy and dental hygiene education.  Students work alongside qualified oral health professionals in the university dental clinic and gain extensive clinical experience on placement in a wide range of settings. AUT lecturers are experts from different dental professional groups including, dental surgery assistants, therapists, hygienists, dentists and dental specialists.
