Physical Address:Sandy works part time as a Research Officer for The Person Centred Rehabilitation Team (PCR Team) which is one of the research groups making up the Health & Rehabilitation Research Centre at AUT University. It is a multidisciplinary team, lead by Dr Kathryn McPherson, Professor of Rehabilitation (Laura Fergusson Chair). The project Sandy is involved with is looking at improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation processes such as goal setting and promoting engagement in rehabilitation.
Sandy also works part time in the department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. Her main area of responsibility is to develop and coordinate the occupational therapy service based in Akoranga Integrated Health, the clinic that is based on campus. She is currently develping a study which aims to improve interprofessional working via the critical examination of the development of professional identity.
