Research Summary:

DHSc in progress. Research focus is on the experience of family carers transitioning into a caring role for an elderly family member as they become increasingly frail. The experience of family carers searching for information and help needed to care and support their elder/s potentially informs and enables ageing-in-place. Family-carer experiences of adjusting and finding their role in relation to the increasing frailty of their elder potentially informs health service support for families and elders in the community
