Studying materials and manufacturing engineering for 4 years is no easy feat. However Shamzin yasdanian knows the rewards of completing his PhD at AUT University will be well worth the hard work.
“Completing a quality study will definitely help me to get to where I want to be in my future career. The School of Engineering prides itself on being research-led and as a student, I’ve had the opportunity to make real contributions.
“The course is challenging and instructive, but it’s been an excellent way for me to study research in an area I’m really interested in. Figuring out the research direction has probably been the biggest challenge, but once I decided what to focus on, it’s been really interesting.”
