Memberships and Affiliations:
Linda has been a university teacher in New Zealand since 2001and her passion is to motivate adult learners to reach their fullest potential in an enriched environment of curiosity, creativity and confidence.
Participants in the adult and tertiary programmes come from a broad range of disciplines, learning circumstances, ages and cultures and each one has different goals and ambitions, hence Linda views her role as one to help participants realise their goals and ambitions through education programmes that are flexible and agile.
Linda has a strong interest in heutagogy (self-determined learning) as an approach to learning that maximises participant experience in the learning process through blended learning. This interest has led to the integration of mobile social media as a learning tool that participants can incorporate into their own teaching circumstance.
