The Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Leadership sits within, and progresses to, the Master of Educational Leadership. It has a focus on the leadership of learning and one other related area of educational leadership of your choice.

Entry requirements

Completed one of the following:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree
  • Relevant graduate diploma
  • Relevant professional qualification or professional experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

All applicants (domestic and international) must have at least three years of relevant professional experience, and are required to submit a current CV providing evidence of their professional experience (ie. dates, organisations' names, a paragraph describing specific responsibilities at each school/organisation, student year groups [if appropriate], and level of employment).

A CV is as important a part of the entry requirements to this qualification as evidence of your professional qualification(s).

Structure and content

The Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Leadership consists of EDLD901 and one paper from either EDLD802 or EDLD803 or EDLD804.
