Leading up to We Can Create, AUT students from various disciplines have come together to form a props team. The team explored the creative possibilities of a new type of construction cardboard.
- Students build a MakerBot 3D Printer
August 2011
Although 3D Printing has been around for a while, recent developments in hardware technology has transformed it from a high-end Rapid Prototyping tool for businesses to a highly accessible technology for everyday inventors. Our students had the opportunity to build a printer as part of their paper.

AUT Maori Expo 2011 was held on Thursday 12 May from 9am - 3pm.It was the largest celebration of Māori achievement in all fields - cultural, political, sports, education and the arts.
