Computer Science Major: Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences

The Computer Science major gives students the ability to develop effective ways of solving computing problems and devising new ways to use computing technologies.

This major will assist students in understanding the fundamentals of computer sciences.

WHAT THIS MAJOR COVERS

Students will learn advanced aspects of technical software, including advanced algorithms, multi threading and user interfaces, as well as the theory and science behind probability, applications and computation.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

  • Design and implementation of software
  • Entrepreneurial activity
  • Industrial research
  • Research and development in large organisations
