ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the conjoint programme of study’s admission requirements and the admission requirements for each of the component degrees, and an interview may be required
From school:
-
University Entrance, and:
- NCEA: a minimum of 57 credits at Level 3 including a minimum of 19 credits at Level 3 in at least three approved subjects, which must include Mathematics with Calculus, or Statistics and Modelling, OR
- CIE: 180 points on UCAS tariff
- NCEA: a minimum of 57 credits at Level 3 including a minimum of 19 credits at Level 3 in at least three approved subjects, which must include Mathematics with Calculus, or Statistics and Modelling, OR
From previous tertiary education study:
- A minimum of a B grade average over the previous 120 points worth of papers, or equivalent.
Note: Entrance to university does not guarantee admission to a specific programme of study.
CONTINUED ENROLMENT IN THE CONJOINT PROGRAMME
In order to maintain enrolment, conjoint programme students must achieve a minimum of a B grade average (equivalent to a GPA of 5 on the most commonly-used 9-point grading scales) over the previous 120 points worth of study, or else they will revert back to one of the component degrees.
