The Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences and Postgraduate Certificate in Computer and Information Sciences are both offered at AUT Manukau campus. From semester 1 2012, we will be offering a one year taught Master of Service-Oriented Computing (MSOC) exclusively at the Manukau Campus.

The first year will give you an introduction to computer and information sciences before focusing on your chosen major in years two and three.
The Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (BCIS) provides a sound technical understanding of computer hardware and software, an ability to develop high quality computing solutions and an appreciation of the processes and practices necessary to meet the demands of a profession in computer and information sciences.
Renowned as being practical-based, the BCIS is backed by a high profile industry advisory committee to ensure that your learning is directly related to current and future industry needs. You will also carry out a significant project in industry, undertaking a real task for real clients.

Master of Service-Oriented Computing (MSOC)-exclusively at the Manukau Campus.
The Master of Service-Oriented Computing (MSOC) is a postgraduate programme focused on the interdisciplinary area of service-oriented computing. It is aimed at graduates who desire a taught master's programme and will present some of the latest developments and trends in both practice and research in the area. This one-year master's by coursework will build on professional experience in the information technology (IT) sector and prepare graduates for the growing cloud computing, service science and service-oriented computing sectors.
