AUT encourages early application. There are limited places available. Applicants will normally be selected on the basis of their level of academic achievement and the results of the copy test.
Late applications will be accepted if the programme is not full.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
During the Graduate Diploma in Advertising Creativity, you learn how to put together a professional portfolio of work that is essential for getting a job in an advertising agency’s creative department or for obtaining work in a creative marketing communications company. You will work on live briefs, and write and design real ads for real products. There is also the opportunity for some students’ work to be published in the media.
Guest speakers from leading advertising agencies feature throughout the year.
AUT’s Advertising Creativity curriculum is New Zealand’s only qualification that is recognised by the international Design & Art Direction (D&AD) University Network, the most highly regarded design and advertising industry body in the world. The graduate diploma also has the full support of the Communication Agencies Association of New Zealand.
WHAT THIS PROGRAMME COVERS
You will learn to focus your ideas, and as a copywriter or art director, you will put together a portfolio of work that may get a foot in the door of an advertising agency’s creative department or marketing communications company.
