Social Media and Digital Communication Conference
Thursday/Friday, 30/31 August 2012
AUT Conference Centre
The US Embassy Wellington, AUT University, and Social Media NZ (SMNZ) are organising a conference that brings speakers from government, business, technology, media and research together with delegates from similar fields to explore social, political and economic impacts of digital innovation, especially social media.
International and South Pacific speakers will challenge those ideas in ways that are inspirational, practical and conceptual. They include: Alec Ross (who was President Obama's social media election strategist and now works for Hillary Clinton), Emily Banks (Associate Editor for Mashable) and Google’s California-based global ambassador, Michael T. Jones.
Because the venue restricts numbers, interested parties are encouraged to apply quickly for the Early-bird packages, which expire soon.
