1. Recognise business involvement in the sustainability movement
2. Analyses business situations where environmental, community and sustainability concerns are implicated
3. Devise business strategies and tactics for environmental management, stakeholder engagement and sustainability, including the opportunities and limitations they present
4. Critically evaluate the sustainability challenge facing business

Key Concepts (sustainability, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, including the business case for sustainable development)
Business Responses to Current Issues (eg. energy, waste and recycling, carbon and climate change)
Guiding Frameworks (eg. regulatory solutions and voluntary codes)
Practical Tools (eg. environmental management systems, environmental and social audits, life-cycle assessment, product labelling and business reporting)
Integrated Business Strategies (eg design for the environment, supply chain collaboration, fair-trade, producer responsibility, stakeholder engagement, strategies for the bottom of the pyramid, environmental and social entrepreneurship, and bioregionalism)
