- PhD in Political Studies, University of Auckland. Thesis title, New Zealand’s National Archives: An Analysis of Machinery of Government Reform and Resistance, 1994-1999.
- MA (Hons) in Political Studies, University of Auckland. Dissertation title, A Viable Marketplace of Ideas? The 1986 Commerce Act and the New Zealand Daily Newspaper Industry.

Biography:
Julienne completed her PhD on machinery of government reforms for New Zealand’s official archives, in 2009. Since then she has been comparing archives policy reform in Canada and New Zealand, and updating her thesis research with the latest policy developments in New Zealand.
Julienne teaches in the Centre for Business Interdisciplinary Studies on the first year paper, Globalisation and Business Enterprise, and the level-7 paper, Media, Power and Citizenship.
