Auditors have traditionally been trained in accounting and auditing with little attention being devoted to the implications of the increasing use of computer technology in firms. This study intends to investigate how the current set of skills look like in big auditing firms and if these skills actually meet the demands in business especially in respect to contemporary technological developments.
