Biography:

Jacinta’s research interests are within the fields of social marketing and consumer behaviour, particularly with respect to health promotions, children and media. Her Ph.D. research explored the application of marketing communications principles in the school environment to facilitate health promotions. Jacinta is currently undertaking a project that explores food culture among New Zealanders.

  • The mediascape and consumer socialization of children
  • The application of integrated marketing communications in social marketing contexts
