Dr Mark Le Fevre is a senior lecturer in management in the Faculty of Business. He was originally trained as a microbiologist and worked in the health system for six years before moving to the newly emerging biotechnology industry in 1974. He has held positions ranging from production manager through research and development management, chief financial officer and chief executive officer over a period of some twenty years in commercial management before entering academia. His primary interest now is in the broad area of the psychology of management at both the individual and group level.
He is currently engaged in a cross disciplinary research project investigating the relationships between stress, stress management, and performance in commercial managers involving researchers from the Faculties of Business and Health.
