Professor Alireza Tourani-Rad 
Professor and Discipline Chair of Finance AUT University
Dr. Alireza Tourani-Rad is the Chair and Professor of Finance, AUT Business School. He has published extensively, in excess of seventy five refereed articles, in areas of corporate finance and governance, financial markets, investments, and mutual fund performance. His publications have received national and international recognition through receiving more than 10 best papers awards at various conferences and journals. Professor Tourani-Rad sits on the editorial board of several finance journals. He is co- director of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in New Zealand. He is a member of Australian-New Zealand Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee, a Fellow of Charted Public Accountants of Australia, a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and a Research Associate of European Centre for Corporate Engagement.
