From 2012, students can take the paper 307000 SIFE as an approved 60 point alternative to Co-op.
As a student in the new SIFE 60 point paper, you will be able to create and run SIFE projects to benefit people in need and simultaneously gain credits towards your degree for your phenomenal contributions. Bring theories and concepts learned from your major and apply them to solve real world issues.
Entry requirements are two level 7 papers in a chosen major plus permission of the the BBus Programme Leader. Permission is usually granted to students with a B or higher average grade who show commitment to the SIFE organisation. A record of previous volunteering at SIFE AUT is an advantage, but not essential.
