The Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Postgraduate Certificate in Business are designed for students who wish to gain a postgraduate qualification in stages. Students study papers in a specialist business discipline.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate in Business are expected to have an undergraduate degree with a B average in the field in which they propose to undertake further study
  • Applicants who have an undergraduate degree in an alternative field are usually expected to complete the Graduate Diploma in Business with a B average or better in their chosen subject before beginning the Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate in Business
  • Applicants with relevant overseas qualifications will be assessed individually and may be required to undertake a preliminary course of study before entry into this programme
  • Applicants for whom English is a second or additional language must have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 overall and a minimum of 6.0 in each band. For more details, please refer to English Language Requirements in AUT’s Academic Calendar


STRUCTURE

To graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business students must successfully complete 120 points from their chosen specialisation or from other papers, subject to satisfying prerequisite requirements.

To graduate with a Postgraduate Certificate in Business students must successfully complete 60 points from their chosen specialisation or from other papers, subject to satisfying prerequisite requirements.
