MBA admission, entry criteria and fees

Master of Business Administration is designed for people aspiring to general or divisional management or chief executive positions – those wanting to transform their careers and be at the forefront of business leadership.

The postgraduate certificate and diploma provide a study pathway towards the Masters degree.

ENTRY CRITERIA

MBA applicants are required to have either:

  • An undergraduate degree, or
  • A graduate diploma, or
  • A professional qualification in a relevant discipline

AND

A minimum of five years relevant professional experience since gaining their degree or other qualifications.

Evidence of work experience will need to be submitted in the form of a letter, on letterhead, from a past or current employer stating the date you started working for the company, your role, responsibilities, and the date you finished working for the company - or that you're currently employed.

Applicants for whom English is a second language must have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 overall and a minimum of 6.0 in each band.

Applicants who have completed their tertiary study or work experience overseas may be required to obtain a satisfactory result in the GMAT.

Students are advised to apply as soon as possible to secure a place. Preferably two weeks prior to the term commencement date.

MBA FEES

MBA fees are set annually and are subject to change.

Domestic student fees 2014

2014 tuition fees for domestic students (MBA) - NZ$35,880.00 for full course (180 points)

The domestic fee amount is for full-time study, in NZ dollars and include goods and services tax (GST).

Fees Payment: Domestic students have the option to pay their fees term-by-term, or to apply for a Studylink loan for a full calendar year.

* Any study completed beyond 2014 will be subject to annual fee adjustments. 

International student fees 2014

MBA 2014 tuition fees for international students: NZ$44,630 (GST included) for the full MBA

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration 2014 tuition fees for international students NZ$29,750 (GST included)

* Any study completed beyond 2014 will be subject to annual fee adjustments. 

Because your visa will only reflect the period of time that you have paid for, you should have your fees for the year paid 7 days prior to your start date in the programme. This will ensure your visa is valid for your full 2014 year of study.

  • Additional fees may be charged for individual programmes of study. Contact us for further details.
  • Fees must be paid in full by the date specified on the fees invoice.
