The MBA is a practical, hands-on qualification that draws on current business experience and real industry examples to equipp graduates with a ‘toolbox’ of functional management skills, models and techniques that cover the core functions of management. In particular, the MBA provides a link to professional practice, enabling the development of those wanting to gain advanced management knowledge and capability.
Opportunities also exist for students to specialise in a particular discipline and extend their studies in that field. The areas available for specialisation within the Business School include: Commercial Law, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, Operations and Management and Sustainability. Students completing five electives in any particular discipline may graduate with an endorsement on their degree.
