The programme investigates current and future issues in OHSW and will be consolidated through an applied project. You will explore the lessons learned from New Zealand’s poor occupational health and safety record in industries such as forestry and construction, and from the Pike River Coal Mine disaster, which have influenced the new Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policy and practice reforms.
