The AUT Business School is part of an elite group of only 6% of business schools worldwide accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB accreditation is a stamp of quality, indicating rigorous and relevant programmes and research, and an excellent standard of service and support for students. The AUT Business School achieved AACSB accreditation in 2011.

Recognition

The AUT Business School has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. The Bachelor of Business in Finance is acknowledged as incorporating at least 70% of the CFA Program's Candidate Body of Knowledge and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. The finance major will position students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst designation – a globally respected and recognised investment credential.

The American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand promotes trade, investment, tourism and education links between the United States of America and New Zealand. AMCHAM works closely with many organisations, governmental and business. Dr Geoff Perry, Dean of the AUT Business School, sits on the AMCHAM Board of Directors.

The Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management aims to advance management education, research, and practice. It is the primary professional body for management educators, researchers and practitioners in Australia and New Zealand.

Consejo Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Administración (CLADEA), the Latin American Council of Management Schools, is one of the largest networks of business schools worldwide. With members from Latin America, North America, Europe and Oceania, it provides a premier forum for international cooperation. The AUT Business School was granted membership in October 2012.

Only quality institutions are selected to join EFMD’s unique forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development. The AUT Business School was granted membership in 2004.
