Bachelor of Design: degree outline

Entry requirements

Structure

The first year of this major focuses on visual, technical and production skills and explores the design of fabrics. Studio-based papers are supported by fashion theory and elective options. In the second year, you will use specialist print and knit software to create fabric-for-fashion products. In the final year of the degree, you will put these skills into practice through innovative self-directed projects that cover a broad spectrum of textile-related disciplines.

Most papers last one semester and are worth 15 points. You must complete 120 points each year (360 points for the entire degree).
