Leila Rawnsley-Mason
Bachelor of Design (Fashion) 2006
Straight from graduation, Leila took up the coveted role of design assistant for Mala Brajkovic, one of New Zealand’s most exciting new designers. She still works with Mala and says it has been an incredible time for her, building upon everything that she learned during her time at AUT.
In early 2006, Leila won the national Glasson’s Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt competition. “This gave me the opportunity to not only see a piece of work that I had created being sold and worn across New Zealand, but to be able to help raise more awareness of this terrible disease.”
