Presence - that is here, now existing or happening. Present time or tense, being present, appearance, bearing.
Introducing six emerging artists in their final year at AUT, encompassing photography, painting, video installation and sculpture. Each artist operates within his or her own conceptual landscape but unite under the collective theme of presence through sensory interaction. Throughout the group there exists a limited tonal palette and diverse materiality that creates a sensual environment. The viewer is invited to experience and partake in creative exchange with the artwork.
