Sharp Shooting: self published zines, journals, posters and ephemera by artists and designers – a four-week project that charts the drive to ‘just do it’; fanzines, magazines, recycled and recalibrated printed matter, fly-poster campaigns, e-publications, t-shirts, buttons, stickers produces by artists and designers without a client and most frequently on the smell of an oily rag (e.g. low or no budget). The selected contributions focus on a ‘holistic’ and critical design process – where the means of production and distribution are imbedded within the object – shaping how it looks and how it functions in the world.
