Portfolio Day Tuesday 3 July 2012

Time: 10am – 1pm
Venue: Foyer, Art & Design School, WE Building, Level 3, 27 St Paul Street, City Campus.
This day offers students a great opportunity for you to get feedback on how to further develop your portfolio and to discuss course options!
All you need to do is come to the entrance foyer to the Art & Design building at 27 St Paul Street by 10am and we'll meet you there.
On the day, Art and Design teaching staff and Heads of Department will be available to give you feedback on ways to improve or enhance your portfolio, not by telling you what to put into your portfolio but by helping you understand what they look for when they review your portfolio!
“We encourage students to bring draft or uncompleted portfolios for feedback but emphasise that you don't need to be concerned that you will be assessed for entry on the basis of a draft portfolio or artwork shown on the day," says Neil Cameron, Art & Design School Registrar
After a group presentation on general portfolio requirements, you can break out into groups according to your programme interest, e.g. Visual Arts, Digital Design, Fashion, Graphic Design, Product Design, Spatial Design or Textile Design to meet, mix and mingle with staff and other applicants.
Neil adds: “We keep it informal and find that the conversations had in this part of the day are often the most engaging and enjoyable for everyone, our staff included.”
