This page gives you information about how to apply, application deadlines and the application process
How to apply
- Download a study abroad application form
(4 pages, 131kb) - Tick internship option in Section 6.4
- Get information on how to complete the application form
- Include your resume and a statement of purpose form with your Study Abroad application
Application deadlines
- 30 November each year (for February/Semester 1 start)
- 15 March each year (for July/Semester 2 start)
Application process
- AUT receives completed Study Abroad application form
- AUT assesses application and suitability for internship placement
- If acceptable, AUT Admissions sends formal offer of place for Study Abroad and includes placement fee on the invoice
- On receipt of placement fee AUT commences the process of securing a suitable placement
- AUT informs the student of placement details once a placement has been confirmed
