Raphael Schneider, engineering major, Friedrich-Alexander University, Germany
"I was placed in a large multidisciplinary international company and worked on a project concerning renewable energy. It was really interesting for me to get a deeper insight into this special topic and to work in a multicultural team. The working climate was brilliant and I absolutely liked the people there. This internship gave me the opportunity to work in New Zealand and to gain a lot of new experiences in a foreign country." |
Sara Weaver, conservation major, University of Massachusetts, USA
“I worked for an ecological not for profit organisation whose task was to improve waterways in an urban environment. I created a Biodiversity Audit program proposal and took part in water testing and eco sourcing. I also helped out with some of the courses offered. Having to be more assertive and to take more initiative with the actual project assignment was a great learning experience for me.” |
