AUT University invites students from partner institutions all over the world to spend a semester in our Exchange programme. Exchange students do not pay any fees to AUT, just standard fees to their home university. Students on the exchange programme earn credits towards their home university degree, by choosing four papers (courses) from the faculty at AUT that best fits their studies. Exchange students get the opportunity to immerse themselves in New Zealand student culture, while experiencing all the country has to offer!
As an Exchange student you will:
- Receive a warm, distinctly New Zealand welcome onto our campus.
- Be supported in adapting to life and study in a new environment.
- Receive ample opportunities for you to make new friends, to learn about our unique culture and to discover the superb natural scenery New Zealand is famous for.
