AUT - Orientation for international students

AUT

Orientation for international students

orientation
Orientation is an essential part of your transition to tertiary study. AUT Orientation is a great way to familiarise yourself with the University and the services and facilities available to you, and develop the study skills to hit the ground running from Day 1. At Orientation you will meet your Student Ambassador who will show you around campus and be an ongoing point of contact throughout your first year. This is also a great time to meet other students - some of whom may become your friends for life.
Each school at AUT runs an Undergraduate Getting Started and Study Smart programme*

International students

As an international student, you require unique information and guidance to prepare you for your time at AUT; International Orientation will provide you with this. We run sessions on academic skills, insurance, accommodation, enrolment, visas and working in New Zealand, as well as tours of the central city. You will also meet the International Student Support staff and other international students.
