Graduating from AUT
Graduation is a time to celebrate the successful completion of your AUT qualification. When you have met all the requirements of your programme, and completed the appropriate application processes, you will be able to take part in a formal graduation ceremony. Here you’ll find details of all aspects of graduation.
- Graduation Times
Graduation dates are listed on these pages. Impending graduation dates refer to the closest ceremonies about to take place. Future graduation dates refer to ceremonies beyond 2012, where the provisional dates only are listed, until they have been finalised.

Graduation day involves hiring your correct academic regalia for the occasion, and attending the ceremony if you are going to graduate in person. These pages give you details about all aspects of graduation, on the day.
- Graduation Eligibility
If you are going to complete your course, and you want to Graduate, there are several steps you must take. These pages give specific details about each step in the process.
- Documented Proof of your Qualification
While you are studying, your results will be recorded in an academic transcript. Once you have completed your course, you will be given a parchment on your Graduation day. These pages explain why they are important to your qualification, and the distinct differences between the two.
