Australian Federation of University Women - ACT Accommodation Bursary 2009-10

The Australian Federation of University Women (ACT Incorporated) offers free board and lodging for up to 4 weeks at a residential college at the Australian National University, Canberra to a female graduate or final year honours student from a university or tertiary institution in Australia, New Zealand, Papua-New Guinea or South Pacific countries.

Kate Edger Educational Charitable Trust

The Kate Edger Educational Charitable Trust offer several scholarships for women residing in the Auckland area during the academic year and who are enrolled at AUT University.

Kate Sheppard Memorial Award 

This award is available to women holding NZ citizenship or permanent residency who are undertaking a special project or post graduate study of value to the wider NZ community 
Amount awarded - $2500

New Horizons for Women Trust Second Chance Award

The trust’s second chance awards assist women returning to education or training.
Amount awarded - 18 awards available to the value of $2000 or more

New Horizons for Women Trust Research Award

To assist a woman, a group of women or a community group to undertake, within NZ, research on issues of importance to women and girls.
Amount awarded - Up to the value of NZ$5,000 each.

Yvonne A M Smith Charitable Trust Scholarship

For the advancement of the education of women graduates who wish to embark upon Masters or Doctoral studies with preference being given to the subject areas of political studies, economics, business and law.

YWCA of Auckland Young Women’s Tertiary Education Scholarship

The purpose of the YWCA of Auckland Young Women’s Tertiary Education Scholarship is to assist a young woman to understand the role of governance in a non-profit organisation and to provide us with another young women’s perspective on the activities of the YWCA.

Amount awarded - $2500 for tertiary study. Scholarship comes with obligations, please see terms of reference for details.

AUT Women on Campus Millennium Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide recognition and some financial assistance to a current female student who has demonstrated support for women.
