Postgraduate Scholarships

Business Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship

The Business Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships are for students with an outstanding academic record in their undergraduate business or commerce degree, who are intending to enrol full-time in a Master of Business or Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree.
Amount awarded -Tuition fees.  Eight scholarships are awarded on a contestable basis each year, including scholarships for students of Māori and Pasifika descent

AUT Staff MBA and postgraduate diploma in business administration scholarships

This scholarship is intended to assist AUT staff members wishing to enter the programmes. These are high-cost programmes and not part of the nil tuition fee programme for staff wishing to study.

Business and Law Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships

The Business and Law Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships are for students who have demonstrated an outstanding record of academic achievement at secondary school and are intending enrolling full time in the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Laws at AUT.

Business International Exchange Scholarship

The Business School, in conjunction with a generous donation from a family trust, is pleased to be able to offer international exchange scholarships to enable students, in the Bachelor of Business, to undertake international exchanges at business schools in the USA, Canada, UK or France. Other destinations may be considered and approved on a case-by-case basis by the Business International Exchange Selection Panel. The aim of the international exchange scholarship is to offer assistance to students whose personal financial circumstances mean it would be difficult for them to undertake an exchange without additional financial support.
Amount awarded - $5000 towards travel and accommodation costs
Closing dates - For exchange semester 2, 2012 - 11 May 2012; for exchange semester 1, 2013 - 12 October 2012

The Business School Young Enterprise Scholarship is for a student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement by gaining the top mark in the New Zealand Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme case study examination.

The DFS New Zealand Bachelor of Business Scholarship is for an undergraduate student who is entering their second year of study in the Bachelor of Business in 2011, has successfully completed their first year of study, and demonstrated a good record of academic achievement in their tertiary study.

AUT Business School, in conjunction with a generous donation from a family estate, is pleased to offer a scholarship to a student commencing in the Accounting major of the Bachelor of Business programme. In tribute to the memory of Professor Des Graydon, a highly respected leader of the AUT community and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law for 20 years, the AUT Business School is pleased to be able to offer a scholarship to a secondary school student who intends to study in the Bachelor of Business programme.
