Refunds for international students and Study Abroad students
If you wish to change or withdraw from your programme of study, you may be entitled to a refund.
If you have any questions about refunds or the refund policy, contact the International Student Support Service.

Changes to your programme of study
If you wish to change your programme of study you will need departmental approval for both the withdrawal from one programme and acceptance into another. If approved, the department or departments will notify Registry Services of the change.
Registry Services will then update your student record and recalculate the fees which will result in an amount payable, refundable or no charge. Depending when this change is requested, there may be an administration charge of $10 per paper within the programme you’re withdrawn from.
Withdrawing from a programme of study or transferring to another institution
If you want to withdraw from your programme of study, you must prove to the University that you have satisfied the requirements of Immigration New Zealand with respect to your visa.
If you want to transfer to another institution you must prove that you have satisfied the requirements of Immigration New Zealand with respect to your visa, and that you have a valid of offer of place from the institution you want to transfer to.

Withdrawing from papers
If you want to withdraw from individual papers, you must prove to the University that you have satisfied the requirements of Immigration New Zealand with respect to your visa.
