Payment due date
Your payment due date will be printed on your fees invoice that you will receive once you have accepted your Offer of Place. Fees must be paid in full by 4.30pm on the date specified on the fees invoice.
If you do not pay in full by the due date, you risk losing your place in class and a late payment fee of $100 will be charged.
If you attend class without paying, you should contact the Student Information Centre immediately.
You have a number of payment options. Regardless of how you pay, please ensure you allow plenty of time for your payment to be processed by the due date.
Online payment
You can make secure online payments by visiting Arion. To do so, log in to Arion using the login and password included on your invoice. Then click the Online Finance tab, then Online Payment and follow the steps to complete the fees payment process.
You have two options to make an online payment:
- You may use your MasterCard or Visa credit card or
- If you wish to pay your fees without the use your credit card, you can access your online banking facility through “Poli”.
Please note: There will be no need to disclose your personal banking details to a third party (including “Poli”).
Mail payment
If you wish, you can complete the payment advice that’s included with your invoice and return it with your cheque or credit card details to Registry Services in the envelope provided.
In person payment
To pay in person, visit the fee payment counters at one of the Student Information Centres:

Please note that there are no facilities at the Manukau campus for payment in person. Students may pay through the online methods mentioned above.
In person you can pay with cash, EFTPOS, cheque, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. If you pay by cheque, please write your name, student ID, address and programme of study on the reverse of your cheque. Note: cashiers cannot accept cash after 3.30pm.
Fax payment
To pay by fax, complete your credit card details on the payment advice that’s included with your invoice and fax it to +64 9 921 9985.
Student loan
If you have a student loan from StudyLink, your fees will be paid directly to AUT from StudyLink. For more information about student loans, see

Company guarantee
A letter or official order form from an acceptable agency or employer guaranteeing payment of fees will need to be attached to your fees statement/tax invoice and sent to:
