Types of courses for which you pay tuition fees
You are required to pay tuition fees if you are studying any of the following types of courses at AUT University.
Undergraduate courses
- Certificate
- Diploma
- Bachelors degree
- Graduate diploma
- Graduate certificate
Postgraduate courses
- Postgraduate certificate
- Postgraduate diploma
- Bachelors degree with honours
- Masters degree
- Doctoral degree

Compulsory Student Services Fee: additional to tuition fees
In addition to tuition fees, you will have to pay the Compulsory Student Services Fee of NZ$395 (GST inclusive).
All fees are subject to a maximum annual inflationary increase of 4%. This percentage increase may change due to new or amended government legislation. We will inform you of any such changes well in advance.Questions and help: contact AUT's Student Centre
